From January 3-January 30, 2014, New City Arts presents "Big, Big Surprise," collage and drawings by Charlottesville artist Mara Sprafkin at The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery.  

Mara is currently one of the New City Arts artists in residence at The Haven. Mara’s work focuses thematically on the feminine experience in the course of art history and as an idea that currently impacts how woman exist and are viewed by men and by other women.
