From November 6-November 25, 2015, New City Arts presents "Taking | Breath," new work by Charlottesville artist Brittany Fan at The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery.
Brittany Fan is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, where she studied studio art, art history, and arts administration. Having a love of all things creative, she enjoys painting, in addition to pursuing freelance photography, doing illustration and lettering, and working in graphic design at Journey Group in downtown Charlottesville. Her show, Taking Breath, is an exploration of nature, light, and color through a series of abstract acrylic paintings. Brittany finds inspiration in the natural world and in the themes of hope, renewal, and restoration.
Presented by NPR, WVTF and Radio IQ, and New City Arts, our exhibit opening is sponsored by Feast! and Foggy Ridge Cider. The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery is located at 216 W. Water Street.
